Job Description

Role Definition: Looking for a leader and driver to own the value delivery for two or more product development scrum teams. This individual will be associated with the Data program at SVB to build a highly governed “One Data” ecosystem that will enable transformation and growth.

Location: Bangalore

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree (Technology Preferred)

Experience: 5+ years of experience serving as Project Manager/Scrum Master in planning and delivering software solutions, such as online and mobile user experiences, underlying transactional systems, and integrating disparate systems.

The qualified candidate will provide skills and knowledge in application development to maintain and enhance complex applications and systems utilizing approved languages and technologies while adhering to ZapCom coding standards and practices.

Job Knowledge/Experience:

      • Expert at Project Management – PMP, PSM/CSM, CSPO, Lean, Kanban. Strong execution drive and technical aptitude to deliver customer value – Lead cross functional development from design through delivery
      • Builds great partnerships and relationships with globally distributed cross-functional partners (e.g. Business, Product, Technology, Design, Architecture, Legal, Compliance, et al.)
      • Possesses excellent inter-personal skills with amazing written/verbal communication skills
      • Customer centric with innovative problem solving skills
      • Extremely organized, Goal oriented, and experienced in Data analytics as well as Financial budget/Accounting (CapEx/OpEx) principles 

 

Key Deliverables:

      • Responsibilities include alignment with business stakeholders, partnering with cross-functional partners, and owning technical execution/successful value delivery. Applying agile and lean principles, following scrum practices, coaching/training team members on Agile methodology, and continuous improvement to build high performing teams are a key aspect of the role.
      • Responsible for developing and maintaining custom software using Client standard coding practices and techniques
      • Responsible for developing functioning solutions based on technical requirements
      • Responsible for ensuring tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner
      • Responsible for documenting and communicating application design, topologies, and architecture in an understandable way to peers and the business
      • Fosters an environment of communication and problem solving, leveraging the ZapCom Code of Values.
      • Assists the team in researching solutions and recommends solutions to meet business requirements.
      • Responsible for generating reports utilizing IT standard methods.

 

Skill Set/Technology:

      • Knowledgeable in Data programs – AWS, Data governance, BI tools (Informatica)
      • Knowledgeable in banking audit and regulatory practices; ensuring fully compliant with corporate standards 

 

Certifications [preferred]

      • PMI, PMI-ACP
      • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)/ Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
      • Certified Scrum Product Owner
