Job Description

The Human Resources Office Manager will be responsible for leading the administrative team and serving as an office manager for ZapCom and its main US office located in Dallas, Texas. The Human Resources Office Manager will be responsible for HR related activities including payroll & benefits, employee relations, recruiting, organizational data and reporting.

  • Our HR Office Manager will be responsible for daily human resource activities including management of
    ZapCom’s employee benefits programs, including health and insurance plans, retirement programs,
    educational assistance and other benefits.
  • Demonstrate leadership in performing assigned responsibilities, as well as suggesting improvements in current HR practices
  • Build relationships with employees and teams, by providing proper communication, follow-ups, and partnership
  • Maintain a pulse on employee engagement through ongoing dialogue with employees
  • Lead the administrative team and all aspects related to managing the main office and satellite offices Embrace and cultivate ZapCom culture and values at all times


Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-8 years’ experience in Human Resources and/or Office Management
  • Knowledge of and experience working with ADP highly desirable
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills a plus
  • Ability to work with groups in a face to face, video conference and phone environment


Office Manager duties:

  • Responsible for office administration and facilities, including procurement, as well as management of the Administrative team
  • Management of all onsite and offsite company events; partner with the client team and leadership to manage internal and external firm events
  • High ethical and professional standards and able to keep the highest levels of confidentiality
  • A warm, authentic, and fair personality is a must
  • An individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, passionate in helping people and providing solutions


Payroll and Reporting duties:

  • Review and inspect payroll and benefits accuracy every pay period and submit changes as needed (new hires, terminations, organizational changes, payouts)
  • Manage year-end bonus compensation
  • Profit Sharing Plan administration
  • Track vacation, sick and personal days, leave of absence process and communication
  • Work with Finance on a regular and as needed basis


HR duties:

  • Manage hiring, changes and termination paperwork for all employees, review accuracy and completion
  • Provide all employees policy interpretation and act as the liaison to ZapCom employees to answer general policy and organizational questions as they arise
  • Work with ZapCom partners on developing new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual
    improvements in the efficiency of the HR department and services performed
  • Partner with a third-party PEO to maintain/update employees’ databases and administer employee
  • benefit plans including HSA accounts
  • Employee training on HR related matters


Recruiting duties

  • Collaborate with ZapCom partners and recruiters in recruiting efforts
  • Work to implement proper and complete onboarding for new hires
  • Ensure friendly communication and proper follow up with hiring managers and candidate
  • Partner with ZapCom leadership to implement talent management plans and drive workforce planning
